Affinity provides supported living services for people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and acquired brain injuries, in the East Lancashire area.
Over the years Affinity has successfully supported numerous people to life their lives to the full regardless of their disability. Click HERE to see some of our success stories.
Some of the people we support live with a small number of people (shared tenancies) or on their own (individual tenancies). Support is provided around the clock and includes night support.
Through continued success, Affinity has expanded over the last 12 months and as a result, we are seeking outgoing and fun personalities to join our team. Affinity is a values led service and in this regard we would like to invite people who share our values, to provide high quality, person centred support. Experience is not necessary as we offer a comprehensive induction and training programme.
Being a support worker as part of the Affinity team, involves promoting independence whilst ensuring that the person’s support is provided as they wish, hence our strapline ‘your life, your way’.
Some examples of this may include: supporting people to participate in sport; shopping; assisting with personal banking; supporting people on holiday (in the UK and abroad); cinema visits and dining out. We also support people to live well in their own homes, examples of this support includes: gardening; teaching life skills; personal care and much more.
